BEDFORDSHIRE COACH EDUCATION PROGRAMME 2022/2023
This programme gives coaches the opportunity to understand and develop their own coaching via the following topics
- Reflection on their own practices and philosophy
- Giving themselves time to consider their coaching practices
- Networking with other coaches on the programme
- Formal and informal conversations with others
- Observation and support within their own coaching environment
- Attending organised workshops and tutorials
BEDFORDSHIRE COACH EDUCATION PROGRAMME 2022-2023
The initial session which took place on Friday 02 September was an Introductory Session with invited guest Jo Tripp, Head Coach at Severn Stars and former Saracens Mavericks player, being questioned on the challenges of her transference from player to coach.
The second session on Saturday 10 September was delivered by Hayley Mackellar on the subject of Application Planning.
The third session on the subject of Defence took place on 02 October with Sam Brightman delivering. Full details and Images.
As part of the continuing coach education programme, a shooting workshop delivered by Ann Marie Dwyer nee Muller, was held on 19th November 2022. Full details and images here
BEDFORDSHIRE COACH EDUCATION PROGRAMME 2021/22
The initial Bedfordshire Coach Education Programme with the six coaches who are embarking on the 9 month 2021/2022 programme is now well underway. Please see attached link for details and images relating to the initial sessions
At the third Workshop of the Programme held on 4 December, Karen Atkinson, former Saracens Mavericks and Loughborough Lightning Head Coach and the current Netball Scotland Performance Director delivered “Attacking the Circle Edge” session. Full details and images of the Workshop
