Into Officiating Umpire Award Course - Sunday 12th May 2019
Time: 09.45 (registration) – 16.00 at Sharnbrook Upper School, Odell Road, Sharnbrook, Beds, MK44 1JL
Cost: £35.00 includes the EN Into Officiating Umpire Resource Pack. Closing Date: 26th April 2019
This course is designed for members who would like to become an umpire but who has little or no experience.
Course Aim: To introduce the basics of umpiring a netball match
Outcomes :
- To have knowledge of basic rules of the game
- To identify obvious infringements of the rules
- To apply correct use of voice, whistle and terminology
- To be aware of correct positioning
- To keep an accurate scorecard and call the score
- To identify the requirements for the EN IO Award
