Affiliations Secretary

I moved to Bedfordshire 18 years ago having played netball at County level in Hertfordshire. I joined and played for a local team, which started my involvement with Bedfordshire netball. Along with 2 other parents we formed Cranfield Netball Club, which today boasts over 100 members and 12 teams of varying ages.

I am a level 2 Coach and a ‘B’ Award umpire. I am the fixtures secretary for the Bedford and District Junior and Youth League and cannot actually remember how I became the County Affiliations Secretary!

My two daughters have now also become very involved and have played at County, Regional and Super League level. They also umpire and coach and make me extremely proud that we can all share the same passion.

I originally joined the County Committee to help promote this wonderful game and have since become more than involved. I would thoroughly recommend it.
