Welcome from Gloria Keech,
Chair of Bedfordshire County Netball Association

I am delighted to welcome you to the new Bedfordshire County Netball website. This tool will enable us not only to keep all members up to date with news, events and activities happening around the county. We are extremely proud of our past achievements and look forward to continuing the tradition of producing top netball players and personnel in all areas of the game in the future. Bedfordshire now looks to the future particularly to its youth development programmes to ensure the continuance of excellence.

To all Bedfordshire Members, this is your website, we would like input from you, if you have any ideas for items or indeed any feedback at all, please let us know, we want to hear from you.

Yours in netballing
Gloria Keech

A Message From Kendra Slawinski - President Bedfordshire Netball

I have been involved with Netball in Bedfordshire for many years, initially as a player in 1986 and as captain. As County Coach, coaching all levels from U14 to Open between 1985 – 2005. Finally serving at committee level as Schools rep and then as Vice-Chairman...

I recognize the huge importance of co-operation and team work. I have seen firsthand how such qualities by volunteer personnel have helped Bedfordshire Netball grow and develop. It is through the vision of past and present Committee chair personnel, the expertise of coaches, umpires, administrators and volunteers that Bedfordshire netball has continued to thrive. I have been lucky to have had a small part in the previous achievements and rich history of Bedfordshire netball. We now look to the future where we need to continue to build on the good work of our predecessors, take in our stride the changes in a modern sporting world and remain strong and committed in producing top netball players and personnel in all areas of the game. We hope our youth development programmes, provide the environment which gives aspiring players, umpires and administrators the best chance to fulfilling their dreams. Therefore ensure the continuance of excellence in Bedfordshire Netball. I once had a dream and through the excellent support of netball’s valued volunteer’s I lived the dream, who wants’ to be next?
