Before presenting the award Kendra highlighted all the support that there is for netball by Volunteers in Bedfordshire. She spoke of how successful Bedfordshire is overall within Netball and how every single member should be proud of their contribution.

She went on to say “The Nancy Morris Award is named in honour of a real stalwart in Bedfordshire Netball who ‘truly got things moving within the County’.It is difficult each year to choose a winner as all nominations are worthy recipients, however, there can be only one winner and the main criteria is that Netball in Bedfordshire would not have been so successful without this person’s contribution”.So congratulations to Cathie on being presented with this prestigious Award.Framed certificates were presented to – Louise Harwood, Samantha Crawley and Fay Legg – all worthy nominations.
